With the ability to measure pipes up to 104.7 mm, the JL3LC wireless Clamp Temperature Probe is large and in charge—a perfect match for any commercial or refrigeration HVAC-R Technician in search of lightning-fast precision readings without the inconvenience of straps, tape or zip ties.

Our patented Rapid Rail™ Sensor Technology uses electrically conductive pipe to complete the circuit so readings stabilise immediately, unlike the other guys that can take several minutes.

Plus, measurements are not affected by ambient air, wind, or moisture on the pipe surface—culprits known to throw readings off by as much as 3–4 degrees.

As the fastest pipe clamp in the industry, use the Fieldpiece Job Link® System mobile app that enables—at 100+ metres—wireless communication of full system details with building managers, documenting system performance, and more. It also communicates wirelessly with the SMAN® Refrigerant Manifolds, models SM380V and SM480V.

Logging multiple parameters is activated at one time, getting the right analysis of your system. To obtain a Superheat or Sub-Cool Log, add the refrigerant in the field provided after downloading your data from the JL3PR pressure Probe … the Saturation Temperatures will show for your readings. Meld the table cells from your JL3LC Pipe Clamp Probe Log—either Suction or Liquid line & your superheat or sub-cooling values will be presented.

Use the JL3LC to test your delta T. across the filter drier … Temperature differences over 1.0 °C need to be monitored for loss of system efficiency.
