This HVACDIRECT 412775, BlackHawk Expanding Foam - A/C Coil Cleaner is an 'expanding foam', non-fragrant coil cleaner for HVAC-R applications. This product’s expanding foam targets deep within the coil, then liquifies to quickly remove grease, grime, and other oily substances. The heavy-duty formulation is powerful, yet safe and problem-free in food processing areas.

HVAC-R directions for use:

1. Turn off or disconnect power to unit being serviced

2. Remove any heavy or matted soils that can be easily removed by hand

3. Note: Do not spray into electrical components

4. Shake well before using. Remove cap and point towards surface to be cleaned

5. Condensers: Inject cleaner into the coil. Blackhawk’s expanding foam will penetrate throughout the coil. Wait a few minutes for foam to liquify and remove grease and grime within coil. Rinse with a light spray of water. For stubborn or heavy deposits, a repeat application may be necessary

6. Evaporators: Introduce Blackhawk into coil—it is not necessary to rinse … the condensate will rinse the coil
